Tinne Gilis, 6e joueuse mondiale, a remporté son premier match à l'Open de Grande-Bretagne de squash, un tournoi du PSA World Tour de catégorie diamant, doté de 348.500 dollars. Dimanche, Gilis s'est imposée à Londres contre l'Égyptienne Kenzy Ayman (PSA 38) au deuxième tour, 11-8, 11-6, 7-11, 11-7.

Wout van Aert a reçu dimanche le Trophée Bonacossa à l'issue de la dernière étape du Tour d'Italie cycliste. Cette récompense qui porte le nom de l'ancien propriétaire de la Gazzetta dello Sport met à l'honneur la "plus grande prestation sportive" du Giro. Un jury de journalistes cyclistes en désigne le vainqueur.

Giro - Wout van Aert krijgt Trofeo Bonacossa voor 'grootste sportieve prestatie'

Wout van Aert werd zondag voor zijn uitstekende Giro d'Italia met de Trofeo Bonacossa beloond. Die naar de voormalige eigenaar van de Gazetta dello Sport vernoemde trofee wordt door een jury van wielerjournalisten uitgereikt aan de renner die de grootste sportieve prestatie leverde in de Ronde van Italië.

Silke Macharis et Maysae Bouhouch ont conquis la médaille d'or à l'occasion de la manche de Coupe du monde de gymnastique acrobatique de Bourgas, au cours du week-end dernier en Bulgarie. La paire a accumulé 28.370 points pour s'imposer devant les Ukrainiennes Ruzanna Vecheruk et Anhelina Cherniavska (27.980) et les Américaines Sydney Padios et Willow Noble (27.860).
