Mondiaux d'athlétisme en salle - Michael Obasuyi rejoint les demi-finales du 60m haies

Meilleur chrono des huit athlètes engagés dans la première des cinq séries, le Brugeois devait finir parmi les quatre premiers de sa course, ou être un des quatre athlètes les plus rapides de l'ensemble des concurrents non qualifiés grâce à leur classement.

Obasuyi a pris la 2e place de sa série en 7.67 secondes, son 4e chrono de la saison. Il a été devancé par le Chinois Weibo Qin, vice-champion d'Asie, vainqueur en 7.64.

Il a signé le 9e chrono des 32 concurrents des séries. Sans surprise, l'Américain Grant Holloway, double tenant du titre, s'est montré le plus rapide en 7.49.

Le 7e des Mondiaux de Glasgow,, l'an dernier et 6e de l'Euro d'Apeldoorn, il y a deux semaines, reviendra à 19h50 (locales, 12h50 belges) tenter d'obtenir un des huit billets pour la finale dont le départ sera donné à 21h05 (locales, 14h05 belges).

Cape Epic - Wout Alleman abandonne après une nuit à l'hôpital et des problèmes gastriques

Le champion de Belgique de marathon en moutainbike Wout Alleman a abandonné le Cape Epic, samedi à l'avant-dernier jour de la célèbre épreuve de VTT disputée en Afrique du Sud. Le Flandrien a passé la nuit de vendredi à samedi à l'hôpital en raison d'intenses problèmes gastriques, mais il a été autorisé à quitter l'hôpital dans la matinée.

Cape Epic - Ritwinnaar Wout Alleman verlaat race na nacht in ziekenhuis door maagproblemen

Belgisch marathonmountainbikekampioen Wout Alleman is op de voorlaatste dag van de Cape Epic uit de Zuid-Afrikaanse wedstrijd gestapt. De West-Vlaming belandde in de nacht van vrijdag op zaterdag door intense maagproblemen in het ziekenhuis, maar heeft dat intussen mogen verlaten.

F1 - GP de Chine - Oscar Piastri s'offre sa première pole devant George Russell

Oscar Piastri s'élancera de la pole position au départ du Grand Prix de Chine de Formule 1, dimanche à 15 heures locales (8 heures belges).
