Le parquet de l'Union belge de football (URBSFA) n'a réclamé qu'une journée de suspension avec sursis pour le défenseur de Courtrai Bram Lagae, qui a annihilé une occasion franche de but contre le Cercle Bruges (2-2). Organisator RCS Sport heeft maandag de wildcards voor de komende editie van de Ronde van Italië (WorldTour) bekendgemaakt. De Zwitserse ploegen Tudor en Q36.5 en de Italiaanse teams Polti-VisitMalta en Green Project-Bardiani-CSF-Faizane verschijnen aan de start. De Belgische Lotto-ploeg maakte in december al bekend voor het derde jaar op rij te zullen passen voor deelname. De Giro gaat door van 9 mei tot en met 1 juni.

Het bondsparket van de Belgische voetbalbond (KBVB) wil slechts een speeldag uitgestelde schorsing voor KV Kortrijk-verdediger Bram Lagae, die een doorgebroken speler neerhaalde tegen Cercle Brugge. Welat Cagro, middenvelder van Beerschot, dreigt drie wedstrijden aan de kant te moeten blijven na een intense tackle op de scheen van Wolke Janssens (STVV).
Tour d'Italie - Lotto renonce à son invitation, quatre 'wild cards' attribuées
