WK snooker - Crucible-vloek slaat weer toe: Titelverdediger Kyren Wilson meteen uitgeschakeld
Ook Kyren Wilson (WS-2) is niet aan de 'Crucible Curse' kunnen ontsnappen. De titelverdediger werd zaterdag in Sheffield in de eerste ronde van het wereldkampioenschap snooker met 10-9 uitgeschakeld door de Chinees Lei Peifan (WS-39).

Lucas Coenen (KTM) is zaterdag in Frauenfeld tiende geworden in de kwalificatierace voor de Grand Prix van Zwitserland, de zesde manche in het wereldkampioenschap MXGP. Het leverde de achttienjarige Belg één WK-punt op.

La joueuse de basket Julie Allemand a été opérée avec succès du ménisque aux Etats-Unis, a annoncé son club, Fenerbahçe, samedi. Fenerbahçe n'a pas précisé la durée de l'indisponibilité de la Belgian Cat.
