Turnster Margaux Dandois zet punt achter topsportcarrière

Twee jaar geleden nam ze voor ons land deel aan de Wereldkampioenschappen in Antwerpen. Daar greep de meisjesploeg, weliswaar verzwakt door de afwezigheid van Nina Derwael en Lisa Vaelen, naast een olympische kwalificatie voor Parijs. Maellyse Brassart, Fien Enghels, Jutta Verkest, Erika Pinxten en Dandois eindigden toen voor België als 17e op 24 landen, terwijl voor de Spelen top 12 nodig was.

Champions League - Liverpool-coach Slot uit na exit tegen PSG twijfels bij nieuw format

Arne Slot strandde met Liverpool na een zinderende wedstrijd tegen Paris Saint-Germain in de achtste finales van de Champions League. "Dit was de beste wedstrijd die ik ooit als betrokkene heb meegemaakt", zei de Nederlandse trainer, die zijn ploeg na strafschoppen zag verliezen. NBA - Cleveland blijft maar winnen en verslaat nu ook Brooklyn

Cleveland heeft dinsdag (lokale tijd) in de Noord-Amerikaanse professionele basketcompetitie NBA de zege behaald tegen Brooklyn. De Cavaliers, die ruim aan kop staan in de Eastern Conference, versloegen de Nets in de eigen Rocket Arena met 109-104.
