BNXT League - Noam Yaacov verlaat Oostende na dit seizoen voor Utah Utes

Met een gemiddelde van achttien punten, vier rebounds en zes assists is de 21-jarige Yaacov dit seizoen een van de kandidaten voor de MVP-titel in de BNXT League, het Belgisch-Nederlands basketkampioenschap.

Yaacov werd geboren in Denemarken en verhuisde op zijn veertiende naar Israël. De spelmaker van 1m85 schopte het er tot international en won eerder met de U20 zilver op het EK 2023.

In het seizoen 2023-2024 werd Yaacov door ASVEL uitgeleend aan Hapoel Jeruzalem, waarmee hij aantrad in de Champions League. Nadien won hij met Hapoel Tel Aviv de Eurocup, alvorens vorige zomer naar Oostende te trekken.
