Belgen in het buitenland - Kompany bedankt vriendelijk voor rol als analist op WK: "Dan heb ik geen gezin meer"

"Dat zal sowieso niet gebeuren", liet Kompany dinsdag duidelijk verstaan tijdens zijn persmoment daags voor de clash tegen Bayer Leverkusen in de halve finales van de DFB Pokal. "Waarom zou ik in hemelsnaam tijdens mijn vakantie als analist naar het WK moeten gaan? Dan heb ik volgend jaar geen gezin meer in München."

Rally van de Canarische Eilanden - Thierry Neuville op zoek naar eerherstel

Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N) ging onlangs in de Rally van Kroatië in de fout en liep daarbij de grootste ontgoocheling in zijn carrière op. Veel tijd om te treuren kreeg de Belg evenwel niet. Rally van de Canarische Eilanden - Katsuta start op Canarische Eilanden als WK-leider

Donderdagochtend begint de Rally van de Canarische Eilanden met de traditionele shakedown. Na de ceremoniële start wordt in Las Palmas, in het voetbalstadion van Gran Canaria dat plaats biedt aan 32.400 toeschouwers, een superspecial van 1,89 km gereden waarbij de rallywagens twee aan twee starten. Gespreid over vier dagen worden er 18 KP's gereden, goed voor 301,3 km.
