Tour d'Italie - Mikel Landa est sorti de l'hôpital de Tirana et peut rentrer chez lui

Le coureur espagnol, 35 ans, avait lourdement chuté lors de la première étape du Tour d'Italie cycliste vendredi en Albanie.

Mikel Landa était tombé à grande vitesse dans la dernière descente vers Tirana. Le Basque souffre d'une fracture de la vertèbre Th 11, une vertèbre thoracique, mais son état est stable et ne souffre d'aucune autre complication.

Mikel Landa a un bon "état d'esprit et se montre optimiste pour la suite", a ajouté Soudal Quick-Step dans son communiqué.

Naar het einde van de wedstrijd gingen de poppetjes aan het dansen door een incident tussen een speler van Patro en de coach van Lokeren-Temse.

Jupiler Pro League - Smets en Fadiga riskeren ieder twee wedstrijden te moeten missen

Het bondsparket wil Matte Smets (Racing Genk) en Noah Fadiga (AA Gent) straffen na hun uitsluitingen het afgelopen weekend. Smets riskeert één speeldag schorsing, plus de omzetting na een uitgestelde speeldag, nadat hij de doorgebroken Romeo Vermant (Club Brugge) neerhaalde. Noah Fadiga (AA Gent) moet ook twee speeldagen vrezen na een zware overtreding op Doumbia (Antwerp).
